Ernie has over 20 years experience in corporate training and consulting, during which time he has provided key services to his clients, from developing new systems or programs to regional and national roll-outs of new technology. Ernie was instrumental in the development, implementation, coordination and instruction of a multi-year project management training project at Bristol-Myers Squibb. Due to the program’s success, Ernie was the key factor in receiving “Affiliate of the Year”, an honor bestowed to Boston University’s most outstanding affiliate.
Ernie has worked on a variety of IT development and infrastructure projects as well as a number of training and development projects for a variety of Fortune 1000 companies. Over the past 15 years, he has worked on projects for clients such as Bristol-Myers Squibb, MetLife, Mercedes Benz USA, IBM, A&P, Hoffman-LaRoche, Johnson & Johnson, PSE&G, Exxon, as well as a number of internal development projects.
Prior to entering the corporate world, Ernie served as an Engineer Officer in the US Army Reserves, serving as a Project Manager for various Military Civil and Combat Engineering projects. His last assignment was as a Commanding Officer for a Combat Engineer Company and held the rank of Captain, USAR.
Ernie is a Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+ - 1998), and is a certified Information Technology Project Manager (IT Project+ - 2000). He was awarded certification by the Project Management Institute (2001) as a “Project Management Professional”. His most recent certification is as a Microsoft Solutions Framework Practitioner (2002). Ernie has a M.A. from New Jersey City University (1973) and a B.S. from St. Peter’s College (1971).
