Bella Trenkova is an IT Management Consultant and a small business owner supporting the federal government contracting community. Bella started managing software development projects in 1998, became a PMP in 2003 and then again in 2012, and a PgMP in 2014. She has been an Agile practitioner and advocate since 2012, when she joined the first Agile pilot at a Fortune 500 financial services company. Since then, she’s been passionate about helping organizations and individuals making the crossover from the traditional waterfall SDLC to Agile and DevOps. She stands here today, because she firmly believes the PMBOK knowledge is still applicable in the Agile world, when applied through the lenses of the Agile manifesto and the 12 principles.
Bella is a mother of three (at least one of them a future project manager) and a mentor with Women in Technology and Girls in Technology. She walked the Avon 39 mile for breast cancer 6 times and she is currently training and fundraising for her 7th season.
