    About the Event

Presentation by Michael Hannan - Strategic and Business Management

How is it that some project-centric organizations and teams achieve unprecedentedly high levels of performance—sometimes 10X or higher than the next highest performer? For example, one team rescued 35X more people per hour than the previous historical precedent, while another team achieved a feat that had been labeled “impossible” by leading experts the world over—and they did so in just a few short years, with a budget that was a tiny fraction of what others had when they failed. We all know that visionary leadership and strong cultures of innovation are required, but many organizations with these qualities never achieve the kind of dramatic results that truly advance humankind. What separates these “breakthrough” project-centric organizations from the rest?
