As an author himself, Naren appreciates the opportunities and challenges facing storytellers. As a publisher, he is well-versed in the market factors that determine a project’s ultimate level of success.

David Hollingsworth is an award-winning speaker, author and storyteller, who has performed at The Moth, DC Improv, Stand-Up New York, and as a semi-finalist in Toastmasters’ World Championship of Public Speaking. In his professional career, David has over 25 years of experience as an information technology professional in the corporate and Federal world. He has completed six 100+ mile bicycle rides, four marathons, three triathlons, and too many 5Ks to count. David earned an MBA from Xavier University, and graduated from the College of Business at Ball State University. David lives with his family in the Washington, DC area. Kristin Clark Taylor is an author, editor, journalist, former White House communications strategist, and a communications consultant. Her first four books were published by Random House/Doubleday and Penguin/Berkeley. As a freelance editor and ghostwriter, her expanse is wide and varied; she's worked with new writers to best-selling authors in virtually every genre. As a journalist, her work appears frequently in The Washington Post, and her columns have been published in USA Today, The Miami Herald, The Detroit Free Press, The Boston Globe, The Washington Times, and many other publications.

 

About the Chantilly Local Community

Each month the PMIWDC Chantilly Committee volunteers bring you interesting and informative speakers from a wide range of professions. Meetings are held at the Sully District McDonnell Community room at 4900 Stonecroft Blvd, Chantilly VA 20151. 

Registration is free to PMI-WDC members and friends. Pre-registration is highly encouraged. Registration and networking begins at 11:30 and presentations begin at noon, lasting 45-50 minutes, allowing 10 -15 minutes for Q&A.  Each PMI member receives 1 PDU for attending.

This is an opportunity to network with other professionals.  Pre-registration is recommended. Presentations are usually scheduled the second Thursday of the month. If you are interested in presenting or volunteering with the Chantilly committee, please contact the PMIWDC Staff, at info@pmiwdc.org, who can put you in touch with the Chantilly Committee Volunteers.
