Conference center can be directly and quickly accessed from the Metro's (Silver Line) Greensboro Station stop.

For those attendees who are not tenants to the building, parking will be validated for you following the presentation. Bring your issued parking ticket with you to the conference room. Open lot parking no longer available due to nearby construction work. Please consider using parking garage, and park in assigned visitor parking spaces.

About the Speaker

Patricia J. Williams, MA, PMP

Ms. Patricia J. Williams is an analytical team player with critical leadership and communication skills, who uses a comprehensive approach to manage enterprise-wide projects from initiation to completion. A strong client engagement orientation is the foundation for 14 years of experience in: new technology implementation; business process analysis and redesign; and data assessment, management and validation.


A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Ms. Williams earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from Temple University and a Master of Arts degree in education from University of Maryland, College Park. Ms. Williams is a former director of admission and financial aid, and has served on college admission decision committees for several selective private and public colleges and universities. Ms. Williams has worked in Program and Product Management at the College Board, test makers of the AP®, PSAT®and SAT® exams, and as a senior consultant for Ellucian, Inc. (formerly Datatel, Inc. + SGHE) and Blackboard, Inc., leaders in the higher education technology space. For more than 13 years, Ms. Williams has been a co-facilitator and application read trainer for the Bill and Melinda Gates Millennium Scholars Program, and has presented topics such as “Best Practices for Data Governance,” “The Data Guru,” and “Maximizing Your ERP Data” for numerous higher education audiences.
Ms. Williams also regularly presents for the National Young Leaders Conference and the Young Women’s National Conference. Some of Ms. Williams’ topics have included, “Intelligence is the Torch of Wisdom,” “Education – the Great Equalizer,” “Education: How It Leads to Success and Opportunity,” “Dynamic Decision Making,” and “Crossing the Bridge to College and Beyond.”


In her spare time, Ms. Williams volunteers with numerous organizations throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area, including Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and other public service organizations, Unity of Washington, DC, and the Brightwood Community Association. Ms. Williams is founder of TheCollegePlanner, LLC, non-fee based college planning and coaching service, and DataEd Solutions, LLC, a for-profit education consultancy, driven to help higher education institutions assess, manage, and analyze enterprise-wide data in order to transform it into meaningful and impactful information.
