About the Presentation:

The Costs of Conflict and the Shifting Sands of Leadership

Organizations and project teams of all sizes respond differently to conflict. Many do nothing; others actively, strategically prevent, manage and resolve it. Some shifting sands in leadership practices are slowly beginning to acknowledge (out loud) the inevitable occurrences and costly losses associated with not proactively managing workplace conflict.

In addition to strategically engaging and managing the associated costs, it is also the practice of consistent PM leadership fundamentals that helps to make successful collaboration and high performance teams possible. This interactive and fun presentation will put conflict on your project management team and organizational radars with the hopes it leads you to take new action and help to save your team and organization money. Increased collaboration, trust, loyalty, retention, communication and collaboration are great bi-products of a financially motivated decision to manage conflict, as they will likely increase performance and revenue while elevating employee satisfaction in the long run.
