Come and join us in celebration of PMIWDC’s 40th Anniversary, January 31st from 5:30 pm – 9:15 pm at the Sheraton Tysons Corner for a fun-filled evening of networking, entertainment, and celebration. Share in our pride as we look back over highlights and accomplishments resulting in Mission Possible: People, Passion, and Performance.
Your senses will be enlightened; as a local vintner tempts your palette with several wine and cheese pairings and describes the differences between the grapes throughout the winemaking process. Be amused and inspired as a well-renowned comedian and philanthropist will entertain and educate us that “Possible Missions are Everywhere” and we have the power to change the world.
Please note that the Food and Wine Pairing / Tasting is currently sold out.

About the Speakers
Alcoholic, drug addict, homeless, comedian, CEO, technologist, philanthropist, and Jefferson Award winner are all words that have described Ken Leslie.
Hear him tell the riveting story of how he has spent the past 25 clean and sober years building a successful recruiting firm and as a philanthropist funding new programs designed to provide financial and domestic autonomy for the homeless and homeless veterans on the streets.
His latest project, “Veterans Matter” has now become a national movement to house homeless veterans. With the support of Katy Perry, John Mellencamp, Ice-T, Kid Rock, Kix Brooks, Mitch Albom and many others, the program has already housed 2,600+ veterans in 21 states, 13 of those here for Operation Mid-Atlantic.
About the Monthly Dinner Meetings
The PMIWDC Monthly Dinner Meetings are held at the Sheraton Tysons (8661 Leesburg Pike, Tysons, VA 22182), typically on the second Tuesday of each month (subject to change due to holidays and venue/speaker availability). Members and non-members are welcome to join us for the best speakers and networking the Washington, DC area has to offer.
The presentations are educational and informative to those professionals operating in the field of project management and functioning in leadership roles in industry and government. It is also of great value to those looking to step into the field of Project Management and begin their certification process. Each event will present specific learning points focusing on building a talent triangle of technical, leadership, and strategic and business management skills, unique to the presenter's area of expertise and the subject matter discussed while directly relating to improving the practice of managing projects and leading others. At each Monthly Chapter Event certified PMPs can earn 1 Professional Development Unit (PDU).
