About the Program

It is NOT business as usual in Washington DC!
Our federal government leaders have concocted a transformation that promises to turn the executive branch departments and agencies into lean and efficient organizations!

This presentation will:
--> Overview the issues at the heart of the ongoing federal government transformation
--> Present the strategic approach our federal leaders have taken to initiate a course correction
--> Suggest an approach for a tactical implementation that can start here and now and spread organically

The audience will leave this event with:
--> A better understanding of the federal strategy to modernize our federal government
--> A fresh perspective on their role in the execution of this massive organizational transformation
--> Tips to help promote change from within, gain credibility, and grow customer intimacy (possibly leading to new business)

The Washington DC Project Management community has invaluable experience, insights, and understanding of the issues faced by executive branch agencies. Our PM community has the power to positively impact budget deficits and the national debt, and stop the growth of this burden that our kids are slated to inherit.

An innovator, she is enthused by the new opportunities the government transformation is opening.
Her latest engagement (5 years consulting at the FBI) had her focus on a CIO-driven redesign of the bureau’s IT governance framework, focusing on its performance management function. Her earlier career focused on the integration of modeling and simulation capabilities for the Department of Defense.
When not wreaking havoc in a federal agency, she practices yoga and meditation, and is an avid downhill skier, which she enjoys with her 16 year old son.
