About the Event
Effective Leadership is crucial and is the key to defining the overall success of outcome at all levels -- personal and professional. It is a much-needed skill even if you are not directly managing people.
In this session, you will receive simple and practical easy to use strategies. When applied, we expect to help you transform your existing leadership capabilities from your best to even better. It will lead you with a better understanding of self, improving your style of engagement with your all relationships and social networks, influence and inspire others, and achieve greater personal well-being and professional success.
About the Speaker
Dr. Lovely Lall
Dr. Lovely Lall is an entrepreneur, an award-winning leader and a speaker with 30+ years leading, managing and working with diverse teams in communication, leadership, marketing and health environments.
Educated in medicine, Dr. Lall fuses academic knowledge with over three-decades of yoga and mindful practice in real life situations. She is a self-managed diabetic and stay-at-home mom who climbed up the levels of leadership and was elected to serve as the leader of a Toastmasters International District as its Director and the Chief Executive Officer. She is a Brand and Marketing Committee Chair on Women In Business Initiative Advisory Board for George Mason University’s School of Business.
A Toastmaster since 2010, Dr, Lall has earned many accolades from Toastmaster International's World Headquarters for Excellence in Communication, Leadership and Marketing.
About the Washington Circle Luncheons
PMIWDC's Washington Circle luncheons are a series of free brownbag luncheons hosted at 2201 G St, NW in Downtown DC. There are luncheons every fourth Wednesday of the month, unless posted otherwise.
This program series is made possible by the generous support of George Washington University School of Business, which offers a Master of Science in Project Management (MSPM) degree. The MSPM program is designed to meet the needs of working professionals who want to enhance their ability to integrate complex projects, motivate people, and achieve cost-effective results. With courses offered both on-campus and online, students have the flexibility to complete the degree from virtually anywhere.
Washington Circle luncheons are free and open to the public. Pre-registration is preferred, but walk-ins are welcome on a first-come, first-served basis.
