How do you establish enough influence over key stakeholders to get your work done and deliver value when you have no real authority over them? You know what needs to be done and you know how to do it, yet you cannot get your boss, your colleagues, and sometimes the people who report to you, to do what is needed. This presentation will prepare you to hold the conversations that need to take place to influence your stakeholders so that you can deliver what your organization needs strategically.

This presentation is designed specifically to compliment technical project management training by encouraging you to think about the professional (soft) skills that are becoming more and more necessary in order for Project Managers and their teams to be successful.

This presentation is designed specifically for those want to enhance their influence and persuasion skills.

It is based on the notion that it is commonly accepted that one of the fundamental keys to success in business is the ability to get things done within the project management triangle of scope, cost and time.

We don't always have the positional authority we would like in order to help us get others / teams to do what is needed. At times like this we need to rely on what is called personal power, or our ability to influence and persuade. At the heart of this is the ability to communicate expertly. Communicating with clarity and precision gives the project professional the power of influence and helps them achieve the specific professional results that are their priority. This session will look at the specific skills and attributes needed to make leading and influencing much easier.
