About the Program

ServiceNow’s Jakarta release of its IT Business Management (ITBM) Solution leverages a common platform, a configuration management database, and resource capabilities to align strategy with critical business and technology services, programs, and applications. Project and Portfolio managers are talking about using a common platform, flexible workflow, and configurability as prominent features that are helping them to deliver on their strategic technology portfolios. A demo of the Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) Suite will highlight:

  • Improved Visibility into Projects: Executive and stakeholder visibility with personalized dashboards, timeline visualization, Gantt charts, automated notifications and milestone tracking, and on-demand and scheduled reports.
  • Keeping Project Teams Informed: Keep workers and managers in sync with consolidated work queues and real-time status on every task, project, and portfolio.
  • Adapting at the Speed of Business: Automatically update project timelines based on task dependencies, milestones and resource availability with the interactive task and resource allocation.

He specializes in multiple aspects of IT Asset Management (ITAM), IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and is an ITIL v3 Expert, CoBit, Six Sigma and CSAM certified. He has over 29 years of industry experience in both the DoD, Federal sector and commercial markets. Prior to joining ServiceNow 4 years ago, Tony worked for PriceWaterHouse Coopers as a manager in their CIO Advisory practice. Tony has managed teams responsible for the development of many ITAM and ITSM strategies, architected vision, implementation roadmap and service-oriented transformation plans.

His representative experience includes:

Previously managed an IT Asset Management Assessment and Mobilization project at a large Federal agency customer to assess their current state IT Asset Management capabilities. Developed the initial policies and processes to govern the IT asset lifecycles for hardware and software in order to gain better control of the current assets. Designed the future state ITAM and Configuration Management (aka SACM) technology solution to be integrated into existing ITSM processes and functions. This solution included an approach for automated inventory and dependency mapping discovery functions.

Designed and implemented a comprehensive ITIL-based solution consisting of HP Service Manager 9.2 (all ITIL v3 Modules), uCMDB, DDMa, Asset Manager, DDMi, and Release Control. Auto-discovery (agent-based, agent-less, and passive methods) and dependency mapping functions, CM Planning and CI/relationship modeling for new CMDB structure, as well as helped to identify disparate data source integrations across the enterprise. Assisted in architecting the overall HP Solution and Project Managed the implementation and phased roll out into operations.

Led a team responsible for an ITIL Service Support and Service Delivery process and function definition as well as the technical architecture of the chosen HP Software solutions. Specifically he was responsible for standing up the Dept of Homeland Security’s (DHS) HSDN Service Desk while integrating his defined processes and functions into the HP Service Desk 4.5 solution. He and his team had all design, installation, implementation, integration, and configuration responsibilities of the HP Network/Performance Management and Service Management tools (HP Operations, NNM, OVPI, OVIS, OVSIP, Performance Manager, Service Desk, etc.).

Led the development of an ITSM and ITAM Implementation strategy, roadmap, architected vision, and implementation plan for establishing ITSM best practices to better enable the transformation of the client to a more Services Oriented organization. He was responsible for also ensuring that Process Owners and Managers follow ITIL v3 best practices while interfacing with Service Catalog Management (Service Definition), Service Level Management (SLAs/OLAs) and other ITSM disciplines.
