In order to have maximum reach and impact, SCORE teamed up with Phase2 to create a Drupal system that is flexible enough to accommodate 320+ local chapter sites that support their own content production, without eschewing overall brand and design standard of the national site. This presentation will discuss how SCORE reached its goals in this project and share the valuable lessons learned that can be applied to any new project.

Managing the Emotions in Leadership

Presentation by Carla S. Nash - Leadership

In the corporate arena, we are all taught to leave our feelings out of our work and focus on the rational. Many, especially women, are very conscious of this and understand that the slightest show of emotion can foster a stigma. But leaders have learned that it’s not about ensuring the absence of emotion throughout the day. Instead, effective leaders are using emotional intelligence to manage the emotions that come with guiding a team through highs and lows from adversity, excitement, and disappointment.
