About the Speaker
Ms. Suzie Grieco transitioned from a career in sales and marketing for a national media organization to become a top recruiter for a local technology staffing agency supporting commercial organizations in the financial and telecommunication industries as well as government agencies. After nearly five years of learning about and truly loving the recruiting discipline, which she considers to be the intersection of Marketing and Human Capital, she researched executive search and corporate recruiting firms to identify a new challenge.
Following extensive number of informational interviews she opted to join Booz Allen Hamilton as a corporate recruiter supporting their Organization and Strategy team where she developed and implemented talent acquisition initiatives to identify, screen and recruit hard-to-find candidates who were fully-cleared MBAs. While working closely with her internal clients, she discovered the unique challenges facing government recruiting and joined Booz Allen's Human Capital consulting team and served as the technical recruiting practice lead as well as the project manager for a $20 million, multi-year recruiting-based contract for NAVSEA, the largest civilian defense agency. Following a short sabbatical, she returned to the workforce by starting her own recruiting firm, SG2 Recruiting.
Ms. Grieco has a BS degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Maryland and an MBA in Marketing from George Washington University. She resides in Great Falls, VA with her husband and four children.
