About the Presentation
As an Agile team member, are you trying to figure out where you are, exactly, in the bigger picture of product development compared to where you are expected to be? Are you are working on a government contract where Earned Value Management (EVM) implementation is mandatory, but would like to use Agile software development methods? Perhaps you're an Agile project manager often "translating" Agile iteration results for non-Agile stakeholders? As a product manager, would you like to be able to forecast the impacts of changes on your expected return on investment?
There are some misconceptions that EVM techniques are too difficult to implement effectively on an Agile project, and that EVM could not easily cope with changing requirements.The presentation will discuss how traditional EVM techniques have been adopted to provide the benefits in Agile projects.

About the Speakers

Manjit has 22 years of extensive experience shaping product-‐management strategies and developing transformative solutions using Agile and Lean Development methodologies. He has been participating on agile projects since 2000. He has served as Sr. Program Manager of Development at four different companies that successfully employed agile practices.
Manjit is the organizer of the DC Agile User Group meetup and holds several Scrum certifications (CSM, CSPO, and CSP).
