About the Program
The PMI Washington D.C. Chapter is providing an opportunity for 10-12 members to network and serve the local community at the same time. In collaboration with The Children's Inn at National Institutes of Health (NIH), you will have an opportunity to come together and experience the joy of giving-back through community-service.
Participation in the event will require a donation of $20 towards the Family Dinner and three hours of your time to serve 50-70 families. The meal will be catered from the donations collected, at the NIH Children’s Inn in Bethesda, MD. Opportunities for this event are limited (maximum 12 participants), so mark your calendar!
The Children's Inn at the National Institutes of Health is a residential "place like home" for sick children and their families. Children come from across the country and around the world to stay together with their families in The Inn's healing environment while receiving groundbreaking medical treatments at the NIH, the world's leading biomedical research center. While the NIH takes care of the child's medical needs, The Inn tends to the child's heart, soul and spirit.
