About the Course
Agile methodologies emphasize self-organization, personal responsibility, continuous improvement, collaboration, and frequent, continuous delivery. This course provides a solid foundation in Agile project management based on the Scrum methodology, the most widely used of all agile frameworks.
By the conclusion of the course, participants will understand the principles that agile development is built on, as well as Scrum and Agile terminology; be able to manage the product development process using the scrum methodology; and be able to participate in and lead the ceremonies of Scrum, including the daily scrum, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint retrospective. Perhaps most importantly, participants will understand why scrum works!
Through a combination of lecture, team-based learning, hands-on exercises, and real-world examples, participants will leave this course with a wealth of knowledge.
