About the Program

The PMI Certification provides a valuable baseline documenting an applicant’s knowledge base that can be considered in selecting a project manager. The types of experience an applicant has are also relevant in selecting a project manager. If it’s a development project, how far into a development have applicants managed? Is it a small or large project? The skill sets/approaches to manage a larger project (>$100M) are different than those required on a small project. Are there non-functional requirements called out for the project? This presentation will address these and other criteria involved in obtaining a good match between your project and your project manager.
