Is the push towards more Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contracts in the federal market a good idea? Does the government or contractor come out as a winner? How do the government and contractors have to change to manage FFP contracts? These questions and more will be analyzed and discussed.
The M2D2 event is free of charge and open to all interested PMs. Preregistration is required. Metro Accessible via Smithsonian Station. Government ID or Photo ID is required to enter the facility. This is a brown bag luncheon. Guests are asked to bring their lunch or visit the on site cafeteria.
About the Speaker
Phil Sahady, PMP
Phil Sahady is the co-founder and President of Chevo Consulting, LLC, where he provides strategic direction and oversees service delivery and business development. Phil has over 23 years of experience in management consulting and program management. He played key leadership roles in two other consulting firms, where he developed strong customer and partner relations and led growth. Phil’s background in strategic analysis, business process re-engineering, portfolio management, project management, and contract management provides Chevo with a solid foundation, creating strong client satisfaction and loyalty.
Phil earned a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from West Virginia University. He holds an MBA from Loyola College and is a Project Management Institute (PMI) certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
About the M2D2 Monthly Downtown DC Meetings
PMIWDC holds a free monthly brown bag meeting at the US Department of Agriculture. These meetings are free, and open to the public, but preregistration is required.
