About the Program
Change ManagementThe ability to lead change is one of the most sought after skill sets in the business world today. Why is it so hard to effect change in organizations? Why can’t leaders successfully implement good plans that could move an organization forward? As a normal rule, people react adversely to change. Rob Collinsworth will present proven approaches and techniques when properly executed, will get an organization from where they are in the present to where they want to be in the future. Rob is a proven change agent and will share his successes and mistakes when leading change in various organizational settings and cultures ranging in size from 50 to over 1000 employees. You will leave with a proven model and steps that when taken, can result in effective, successful and meaningful change. This presentation is for leaders contemplating change initiatives.
About the Speaker
Robert D. CollinsworthRob is a human resource professional for a full-service HR site providing expert, timely and innovative HR and organizational management and development services. Serving as strategic partners and change advocates, his organization recruits, develops, and retains a quality workforce to accomplish its critical mission for a diverse serviced population of over five-thousand employees.
Rob formerly served as the deputy for the Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps, Organizational Management and Development Branch. He has held dozens of key positions throughout his career and practiced effective leadership and management in varied settings including on active duty as a Marine, in both Not-For-Profit and For-Profit settings and within the federal sector of the U.S. government.
Rob is a native of Panama City, FL and earned his Bachelors of Science degree in organizational management and development from Bluefield College, VA. He also holds a master’s degree in organizational management from the University of Phoenix. Rob also completed the Senior Executive Fellows Program at Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government.
Rob is the founder and owner of The Collinsworth Leadership Group, LLC. He is a professional and experienced public speaker as well as a certified instructor and trainer. Rob is a member of the National Speakers Association and has presented to a wide range of audiences across the nation on various topics including leadership, change management, public speaking and ethics. He also remains very active as a volunteer in and around his community.
